Description

Set off on a romantic and poetic tour of Lisbon's streets where you'll see the Lisbon of the aristocrats and today's commercial, hospitable and super vibrant Lisbon in an intense mix of religion, fanaticism and lots of tradition. Come by the Hard Rock Café to start the journey through Praça dos Restauradores, where you'll find the independence landmark, theater, modern architecture and various departments, then the Rossio museum station to Sintra, then the Rossio square with the iconic Dom Pedro quarter of Portugal and a local and typical air with typical stores and restaurants as well as the next quieter square the Figueira square where you can eat a good Bifana with a glass of beer, we go down to the Commerce square with its massive arcade protecting the main entrance to the city, next to the town hall and money museum. The next parish to explore is Chiado, complete with the city's most romantic and poetic atmosphere, full of stores, cafés, bookstores, hotels, churches restored after the earthquake, crossing Largo do Camões, considered the heart of the city, between the Santa Catarina neighborhood and Bairro Alto and Chiado, Tourists, locals and workers meet for routine and explore the corners of Lisbon, the iconic São Roque church next to the city's oldest hospital, come and see the São Pedro de Alcântara viewpoint with a beautiful view of São Jorge castle. The Príncipe Real neighborhood is the newest and most cosmopolitan area of the city, with rooftops and beautiful local and interactive studios between Lapa and São Bento with the beautiful parliament and the iconic Basilica of the Star from the late 18th century. Finally, head down to the neighborhood of Santos, the city's old port, where you'll find plenty of nightlife, street art, the Pink Street spot and the Time Out food market to grab some croquettes, sour cherry and pasteis de nata at Manteigaria.
