Description

On this electric tuk tuk tour, we will go to the main viewpoints: Castelo, Bairro Alto and Parque Eduardo VII in a comfortable and fun way. We will discover how the city was born, where it grew, the origin of the symbol of Lisbon, how the Castle was conquered from the Moors and we will pass by the church where Santo António was born and grew up, by the square where democracy began and the monument of the 25th of April. The electric tuk tuk is the best way to get around the narrow streets of the city. In fact, it's the only way we can park in the main places without having to walk. It is environmentally friendly – it makes no noise and emits no exhaust fumes. Not having glass, it allows you to take pictures of the places you pass. Enjoy your day! Don't get tired and don't waste time looking for what to visit. We have everything prepared for you to enjoy our beautiful city to the fullest. Itinerary: Our tour will start at Restauradores, where the Obelisk and the famous Elevador da Glória are located. Continuing through the historic center of the city – Rossio – and walking along the Portuguese pavement through its narrow streets, we will reach the highest point in Lisbon. On this way, you will find out where the legendary 7 hills are located. The sights are many, and we won't miss any: Teatro D. Maria II, Statue of D. Pedro IV, Elevador de Santa Justa, Rua Augusta Triumphal Arch, Church of Santo António (place where Santo António was born and lived ), Lisbon Cathedral, Santa Luzia and Portas do Sol. At Portas do Sol we will stop to admire one of the most beautiful views of the city. You will also be able to see São Vicente (holding the symbol of Lisbon), Alfama (the second oldest neighborhood in Europe) and admire the unique tiles of the Church of Santa Luzia. As we continue, we will pass by the paving stones, on which the face of the famous fado singer, Amália Rodrigues, is drawn. After passing through Villa Sousa and the Igreja da Graça, we will reach the highest point in the city, where we will make a stop at the Miradouro da Nossa Senhora do Monte, the main viewpoint in the city. Other points we will pass by are: the Church of São Vicente de Fora, Feira da Ladra, the Church of Santa Engrácia (National Pantheon), the Fado Museum, the narrowest street in Lisbon, the Chafariz D'El Rei, Casa dos Bicos , Cristiano Ronaldo Hotel, Largo do Carmo, Ruins of the Church and the Church of São Roque. We stop at São Pedro de Alcântara to enjoy the view across the city. We continue through Príncipe Real and stop again at Parque Eduardo VII where we can see one of the most beautiful views of the city. We continue to Basilica da Estrela, Parliament, Elevador da Bica, Largo de Camões, Largo do Chiado, Teatro S. Carlos, Teatro S. Luiz, Praça da Figueira. We will end our tour where we started, at Restauradores.
