Description

Meet our local guide at our meeting point in the city center and enjoy a short van ride to Sintra. We will start our tour at Palácio da Pena where we will learn a little more about its history. In a short car ride we go to the historic center where we can walk through the small streets and alleys of the old Jewish quarter and taste local sweets in a store from 1862. The group will then have a brief break to eat and then walk to Quinta da Regaleira. After a guided tour of the exterior of the Pena Palace and the center, the group will have free time to visit Quinta da Regaleira and explore the tunnels that were once used by Portuguese Freemasonry. After a long walk with some challenges, we will drive along the village and back to lisbon downtown area.

• 1 - If you want to visit the Pena Palace inside (only the rooms) buy the ticket only for the 9:30 am time slot. 2 - If the tickets are sold out, we recommend that you purchase an entrance ticket (recommended). With the entrance ticket, you can see part of the park, chapel, viewpoints, access to the terraces, towers and the performance hall. You will also have a tour guide outside the Palace. 3 - If you want to visit Regaleira (Optional Visit) buy the ticket only for the 1pm or 12 pm time slot at the latest. 4 - Only buy tickets from the official websites.
