Many people said you shouldn’t go without a reservation, but we arrived around 8:30 PM on a weekday without one and got a table immediately with no issues. The service was fast and efficient. This is a seafood restaurant, but don’t expect a wide selection of fish. Instead, they specialize in seafood such as shrimp, squid, lobster, crab, and oysters. We tried the squid, oysters, and tiger prawns. The oysters were absolutely delicious, and the tiger prawns were just as impressive. I would definitely recommend both. The atmosphere of the restaurant was also fantastic, making the overall experience even more enjoyable.
Absolutely loved this restaurant! I had to change my reservation due to a tour I was on being late and they were very accommodating even with being such a bustling place. The food was incredibly delicious and so fresh. I had the garlic shrimp with buttered bread, the giant king prawns (that were the size of my hand 😍) a traditional prego and some fresh mango for dessert. The service was quick and efficient and food came out quickly Upon booking a reservation (which I highly recommend!) they take a €25 deposit so be aware of this but it’s taken off the bill when you pay 👌🏼
It was spectacular. The eating atmosphere was fun and the seafood selection was awesome. Try the carabinero shrimp and the edible crab, both were delicious, but I think most of the foods are delicious including the non seafood items such as the steak also. We have book for a place in advance since we are a group of 19 people, so they require us to have a minimum charge of €75 / pax not including drinks. We ended up eating all the menus and were satisfied about it, so the price itself is quite reasonable. Must try when in Lisbon.
We had a very good time having lunch. First we were sent to the bar as we were waiting for the rest of the table. The bar has a cozy atmosphere and great service. As we entered the restaurant, it was pretty full with a high level of noise, we were sit on a separate room, way more silent and paceful. Service was fine and the food was great, I really recommend this place. I’ll definetly repeat if I necer come back to Lisboa.
Cervejaria Ramiro is one of the most well-known seafood spots in Lisbon, and it definitely lives up to its popularity in terms of demand. We booked about a month in advance, and I’d strongly recommend doing the same—otherwise, getting in is very unlikely. The service was top-notch—efficient, attentive, and well-organized. Our food arrived quickly, within 5–10 minutes, which was impressive given how busy the place is. The food overall was solid. The clams were the highlight for us—fresh, flavourful, and well-prepared. The scallops, on the other hand, were quite small and a bit underwhelming. As for whether it’s the best seafood in Lisbon, I’m not entirely convinced. The prices are on the higher side, and while the food is good, it didn’t quite reach that “mind-blowing” level you might expect. I’d say it sits somewhere on the edge of being a tourist-heavy spot—but still worth trying once, especially if it’s your first time in Lisbon.
