I visited this little family owned restaurant in 2013 with my family by chance. The food and service was so good then that after 13 years; I decided we had to patronise this place again. Needless to say, the food cooked by the mum had so much warmth and soul in it. The service from the 2 brothers; each with their own specialty was attentive, personable and friendly. We had clams, monkfish and fillet mignon; all so delicious! The restaurant is about 20 seater so i recommend making reservations. My girlfriends and I voted this the Best meal in Lisbon!

Family owned Restaurants with experienced staff that have worked Michelin restaurants. Absolutely incredible service and hospitality with prices that seemed to be too good to be true. Food quality is great and makes yourself feel better when coming here rather than the classic tourist traps. Would recommend this to anyone rather than saying, just explore the city and sit and eat anywhere. 10/10 5/5 excellent.

I’m not exaggerating when I told the waiter this is the best steak I’ve ever had. It just melts in the mouth. We ordered the hot stone fillet with fries for EUR 27 each and it didn’t disappoint. You get a big clump of steak sizzling on a hot surface and you have to slice it up into little pieces and cook them individually to your own liking. It’s a lovely experience and done perfectly. Would highly recommend this place if you visit Lisbon. Might be worth reserving as it’s a small restaurant and all other tables were reserved and we were just lucky to get the last one

A gem! Affordable fine dining experience in a small, inconspicuous, family owned and operated restaurant with excellent service. 6-7 tables with maybe a 20+ person occupancy. The waiter and sommelier are friendly, attentive, responsive, anticipate your needs, and have a wonderful sense of humor. Later learned they are sons of the chef, their mother. The food was amazing: rich flavors and hearty portions. We started with several appetizers, but particularly enjoyed a selection of cheeses from around Portugal that came with a geography lesson. For entrees we enjoyed, the monkfish, two styles of octopus, and a filet served on a superheated slab of stone that was a sensory delight: tender and flavorful. Grandmother's dessert was delicious, with "condensed milk, biscuits, and cream" 😉. The wine recommendations and pairings were also spot on. They were funny and playful which made us feel welcome like family. A fantastic experience! Run don't walk to get a spot!
