Description
Experience Lisbon’s historic Belém district on a private Tuk-Tuk tour with a true local guide. This tour combines flavors, culture, and world-class landmarks.
Start your adventure at the legendary Pastéis de Belém, where you will be welcomed inside the kitchen to watch how these iconic custard tarts are prepared. Afterwards, taste the pastries fresh out of the oven, at their very best: warm, crisp, and irresistible!

Next, stop at the magnificent Jerónimos Monastery for photos. Built in 1501 and now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, this masterpiece of Manueline architecture is one of Lisbon’s greatest treasures. When possible and if the lines are short, you will also have the chance to step inside the church, where the tombs of the famous explorer Vasco da Gama and the poet Luís de Camões can be seen.
Our next stop is the famous Belém Tower, a beautiful fortress built in the 16th century at the mouth of the Tagus River. Today, it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Lisbon’s most important landmarks. The tower was once used to protect the city and to welcome explorers returning from their sea voyages. We will stop here for about 15 minutes so you can take photos of its detailed stone carvings, small towers, and amazing location by the water.
After that, we continue to the Monument to the Discoveries. Shaped like a giant ship, this monument celebrates the Portuguese explorers. There is also a huge world map on the ground in front of the monument that shows all the places discovered by Portuguese sailors, which your guide will explain in detail.
Finally, head to the modern MAAT (Museum of Art, Architecture and Technology) and climb its rooftop for breathtaking panoramic views over the Tagus River, the 25th of April Bridge, and Lisbon’s skyline.
