Start your day in Lisbon and set off on a scenic drive to the magical Sintra Mountains. Your first stop is Sintra, a fairytale village recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, full of colorful streets, charming corners, and rich history.
When visiting Sintra, you’ll have two options according to your preferences: you can explore the mysterious Quinta da Regaleira, wandering through lush gardens, hidden grottoes, and secret tunnels, discovering the symbols and mysteries that make this palace so unique; or, if you prefer, you can opt for free time in Sintra without the Regaleira entrance, which gives you the chance to visit another palace or landmark of your choice, explore the charming streets at your own pace, and soak up the atmosphere of this magical town.
Next, head to the Atlantic coast to Nazaré, a traditional fishing village famous for its dramatic cliffs, wide sandy beaches, and powerful waves. Enjoy free time to stroll along the seafront, have lunch, or simply take in the authentic local life. From the upper town, admire panoramic views over the Atlantic and visit historic spots such as the Chapel of Memory.
In the afternoon, travel inland to Fátima, one of Europe’s most important pilgrimage sites. Explore the Sanctuary and the Chapel of the Apparitions, with free time to join the Rosary, light a candle, or simply enjoy the tranquil and spiritual atmosphere.
