Description

Step into a real hardware makerspace in Lisbon and learn how to build, solder, and pilot high-performance First Person View (FPV) drones from scratch. No prior soldering, electronics, or engineering experience is needed. Begin with a warm welcome featuring fresh Portuguese pastries (Pastel de Nata), premium espresso, tea, and cold refreshments. Discover the physics and technology behind FPV multirotors, compare different drone models, and review essential safety protocols. At your personal equipped workbench, assemble a carbon-fiber quadcopter frame, solder brushless motors and the electronic speed controller (ESC), wire the flight controller, and configure flight firmware (Betaflight). Take control of professional Radiomaster transmitters on industrial flight simulators (VelociDrone / Liftoff) to build intuitive piloting muscle memory before real flight. Then, put on high-definition digital FPV video goggles and experience the adrenaline rush of piloting real micro-drones through an indoor neon obstacle course from a true pilot’s cockpit perspective. Enjoy tech discussions with fellow enthusiasts and take home commemorative high-resolution workshop photos and videos.
