You can take a walk through the mysterious Pena Park, which has an astonishing variety of plants and trees. You will feel like royalty as you enter the romantic Pena National Palace (ticket included) at the top of the Sintra Mountain, which boasts amazing views of the Moorish castle. This palace was built by Dom Fernando II, a Romantic king, an artistic king, and an intellectual.
You will take a lunch break in old Sintra, in which you simply cannot miss the opportunity to taste the delicious pastries from this village: Travesseiro and Queijada. Following lunch, you will have some time to visit the National Palace. Visiting Quinta da Regaleira is like traveling through an imaginary universe full of symbols and metaphors, allowing you to connect with masonry. There is also always a sign of something intense, transcendent and mysterious. At the conclusion of your tour, you will return back to Lisbon.
