Description
This tour visits the Sanctuary of Fátima, known for the Virgin Mary's apparitions to three shepherd children on May 13, 1917. Pickup is arranged directly from your hotel to ensure a comfortable start without early travel hassles. If hotel access by car is unavailable, pickup will be at the closest accessible point.
Upon arrival, you will receive an introduction to the history and significance of the Sanctuary, which gained prominence especially after visits by Pope John Paul II. The tour includes visits to the Chapel of the Apparitions, the Basilica, and the modern church built in 2007.
You can choose to attend Mass, light a candle, or make a wish. The itinerary also includes a visit to a religious articles factory where you can purchase souvenirs. Additionally, the tour visits Valinhos, the location of the houses of the Little Shepherds.
After the visit, you will return to Lisbon and be dropped off at your hotel.
