Celebrate the arrival of the New Year from a truly special location: aboard a sailboat on the Tagus River. Set sail in Lisbon for a two hour New Year’s Eve experience and enjoy the city illuminated at night as we make our way towards one of the best areas on the river to watch the celebrations. During the experience, enjoy traditional Portuguese Pastéis de Nata while taking in the nighttime views of Lisbon from the water. As midnight approaches, get ready for the highlight of the evening. From the Tagus River, watch Lisbon’s New Year fireworks light up the skyline, including the spectacular display around Praça do Comércio. At midnight, celebrate according to Portuguese tradition with 12 raisins and raise a glass of sparkling wine to welcome the New Year. A memorable and relaxed way to experience New Year’s Eve in Lisbon, away from the large crowds on shore and with a privileged view of the fireworks from the river.
