This tour operates in English with a maximum of 8 people per van. You can select a tour option focused solely on Pena Palace, available with either interior access (including chambers) or exterior views only.
If you want to visit both Quinta da Regaleira and Pena Palace, select the combined tour option. Please note that Cabo da Roca is excluded from this option due to time constraints.
The tour begins in Sintra, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its Romanticist architecture, historic estates, and royal palaces. Starting in the morning increases your chances of avoiding long lines. The guide leads a walk through the exotic gardens and the impressive interiors of Pena Palace, highlighting its unique architecture and ornate design.
After Pena Palace, you have free time in Sintra's center to explore independently. The guide provides recommendations for key sights and local restaurants serving traditional Portuguese cuisine.
If you choose the option without Quinta da Regaleira, the tour continues to Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of continental Europe. Here, enjoy ocean views from high cliffs. Weather permitting, there will be a stop at Guincho Beach, popular for surfing and kiteboarding.
The final stop is Cascais, an elegant coastal resort town. You can stroll through the city center, visit its luxury marina, fishing port, and a restored fort featuring local artisans.
After Cascais, the tour returns to Lisbon by air-conditioned vehicle along the scenic Portuguese coast.
