Pickup and Drop-off Details
Meet your guide at your hotel in Sintra or Cascais, or at Portela de Sintra Train Station at 9:00 AM. Drop-off options include your hotel or Cascais Train Station, convenient for a sunset by the ocean. Lisbon pickup is available as an add-on at checkout (8:00 AM from Restauradores Square).
Itinerary and Experience
Begin your day in Sintra with the mystical Quinta da Regaleira estate. Wander its gardens, explore hidden tunnels, and see the Initiation Well. Note that reaching the estate requires a scenic 10-minute walk through the historic centre, not recommended for low mobility visitors.
Instead of entering Pena Palace, avoiding long indoor queues and tourist crowds, you will drive the mountain routes. You can opt to buy a 'Pena Park' ticket (€12) online during the tour to visit the terraces and castle exteriors.
After the monuments, travel the dramatic cliffs of Cabo da Roca, visit Praia do Guincho, and end the day in Cascais. The coastal town provides an ideal spot for sunset views before returning by train.
