Description
Prof. Luiz Saldanha Marine Park offers an ideal setting for your first scuba diving experience. The marine park’s reefs and coral gardens host more than 1,000 marine species, including anemones, gorgonians, lobsters, octopuses, stingrays, seahorses, sea stars, and sea urchins. Unique species within this zoological reserve and biodiversity conservation area make it one of Europe’s most diverse seabeds along the Setúbal coast between Serra da Arrábida and Cabo Espichel.
The Try Scuba Dive experience begins with a safety briefing and gear introduction. You will practice underwater breathing and recreational diving techniques during an adaptation session, followed by a guided dive to observe endemic marine fauna in the sanctuary. The activity concludes with a speedboat transfer back to the starting point.
All instructors and dive leaders hold certifications from world-renowned organizations such as CMAS (World Confederation of Underwater Activities) and SSI (Scuba Schools International).
