Excellent tequila selection and extremely knowledgeable owners. We got to talk about tequila. The high end options (Fortaleza for example) are reasonably priced. They also have a great Mezcal selection as well. The cocktails were well made.
We visited Agave Cocktail Lab, looking for some good tequila and cocktails in Bairro Alto. We went on a glimpse with medium expectations and oh boy, we found ourselves a proper treat. The bar stands out in terms of music and atmosphere as they are not your average trashy Bairro Alto shot bar. Their tequila selection is by far the best i have come across in Lisbon so far, with an proper line up of exceptional products. We had their signature paloma and piri piri margaritas, alongside some amazing tequila. The cocktails are beautifully made with fantastic flavours. This is top notch experience for anyone who loves tequila and properly made cocktails, with actual fresh ingredients and homemade stuff. Couldn’t recommend more, and i will definitely revisit.
If you’re in Lisbon and love exceptional cocktails, this place is an absolute must. Theo delivered one of the most memorable cocktails I’ve ever had. Every drink was completely unique—thoughtfully crafted, beautifully balanced, and unlike the myriad of touristy caipirinha shops that litter Lisbon. You can tell there’s serious creativity and passion going into every glass. Also the music was an absolute vibe.
One of the best cocktails I’ve had in a long time! Very cosy intimate bar. It recently opened in November but no doubt this place will thrive. The owner really seems to know his drinks - the cocktails were unique and totally delicious! Try the Kiwi Gimlet 🍸
For some reason my first review wasn’t shared but this place is so good that deserves me to review it again. They have an impressive tequila and agave spirit display and the owner, a Greek guy (can’t remember his name) is a real guru in terms of “agavity”. Their cocktails are amazing. I’m quite peculiar with my taste so they made something off the menu for me and it’s must try, the strawberry ramos tequila fizz: A delicacy!
