The view, the sound of the waves crashing on the beach below, and the breeze…lovely setting for a delicious Bream Prepared Portuguese-Style. The whole fish was brought out and deboned table side. The flavors were wonderful—nothing left on my plate but a few small bones. Not inexpensive, menu in several languages, a lovely experience overall.
Excellent fish (golden bream) and beautiful view. Staff were okay, but not very friendly.
One of the best restaurants you'll find is definitely worth a visit. The food is so good, and the appetisers are really tasty. They're super friendly.
Açorda is a traditional Portuguese dish made by soaking stale bread in a flavorful broth of garlic, olive oil, and cilantro, then thickened into a porridge-like consistency. Variations include Açorda à Alentejana, the classic garlic-herb version; Açorda de Marisco, which adds seafood; and Açorda de Bacalhau, which incorporates salted cod. Here is an açorda with rock lobster.
Went specially to try their soup with mariscos and was absolutely disappointed by this. Watery, not tasty in general, with only 3 shrimps and few croutons inside, which should be served separately. The view is good though and service was good.
