On one of our late afternoons, we were craving some traditional Portuguese seafood and ended up at Marítimo. We had the cod cakes and the shrimp pasta, and both dishes were enjoyable. While I personally found the seasoning a little on the mild side, the quality of the ingredients and the preparation were very good. What really stood out was the excellent service. The staff were warm, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome throughout our visit. Great hospitality can make all the difference, and that’s exactly why I’m happy to give Marítimo 5 stars. We’d gladly return!
We enjoyed a relaxing lunch at Maritimo. Servers are friendly, and the service is timely. The food was delicious and fresh. From the thyme leaves on tomatoes, to the perfect sourness of the octopus salad, you can tell the food is prepared with attention to detail. We would come back again if we ever make it to Cascais.
Came here for lunch on a day trip to caiscas. Our tour guide recommended this restaurant. It was a very good recommendation. We have the small dishes because we were not so hungry. The sardines escabeche was interesting and the first time we had it like this. Very tangy like a cerviche. The raw tuna is great and served with sweet potato chips and full of crisps on top.
This place is a real gem! Absolutely delicious seafood at a cute and cosy restaurant. The waitress was very helpful and gave us some great recommendations and a blanket when it got a bit chilly in the evening! We had the bacalao to start and they were so good. Followed by the clam pasta and the sea bream. The pasta was simple yet delicious - garlic-y, fresh clams and olive oil - what's not to love?! And the sea bream was the absolute highlight. Super fresh, lemony and th perfect amount of saltiness. Would highly recommend this place and I hope I'll get to come back one day!
Amazing restaurant in Cascais! Food and service are fantastic. If I could give more than 5 stars for the food...I would! Sona, our waitress, was very polite and responsive.
