Very good brunch. We had the chicken bowl and the pancakes with egg and bacon, both good. For the price, the chicken in the bowl could’ve been better, some pieces were overcooked and a bit rubbery, though not all of them. Aside from that, the bowl was very good. The pancakes with egg and bacon were also good, nothing special, but that’s not really why you’d order them, so it worked well. The juices were very good too, and the waitresses were sweet.
We had an excellent breakfast at Nicolau. I ordered the English Breakfast, a flat white coffee, and a fresh orange juice, and everything was outstanding. The ingredients were fresh, the eggs were perfectly cooked, the avocado was delicious, and the coffee was excellent. The orange juice tasted freshly squeezed and complemented the meal perfectly. The atmosphere was cozy, the presentation was beautiful, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a great breakfast in Lisbon. We would definitely come back!
We tried the toast with brie and prosciutto, the poached egg with salmon on an English muffin, and also the Nicolau pancakes. The toast was very good — tasty bread with plenty of flavor and generous toppings. The English muffin dish was also really good. The egg and salmon tasted great, but the muffin itself was a bit hard, which unfortunately pulled the dish slightly down. The pancakes looked beautiful, but the taste was quite ordinary. I personally wouldn’t recommend them. The gelao coffee was excellent — seriously very good coffee!
A nice Cafe in a busy street. We went there because our hotel was nearby. The food was tasty but I'm still not used for those sweet types of bread they use when there is bacon and egg inside. But that's my personal taste. The matcha could be a bit more flavorful but the normal coffee was very good. Also they have a very sweet service team 😊
This cafe was a really cute lunch spot that felt away from the high traffic streets of Lisbon. I enjoyed my tuna salad, especially the mango sauce it had. I did not enjoy the banana smoothie because it was not sweet and tasted off. My sister had the fish tacos, and thought they were good but nothing to brag about. She also had a cinnamon roll that was not impressive - would not recommend. For reference, we are in our late 20s from NYC so it’s hard to impress us. We only ate here once, so I’d be willing to give more of the menu a try. We sat outside but noticed the ambience inside looked really nice. Our waiter was also very pleasant.
