The food at Papa Lucas was average, with simple but acceptable flavors and standard preparation. However, the overall experience was significantly affected by very long waiting times. Service was slow, and the food took a long time to arrive, which made the meal feel less smooth and enjoyable than expected.
highly recommend Papa Louca for lunch. Their lunch menu offers great value for money, with well-prepared dishes, generous portions, and tasty, comforting food. The atmosphere is relaxed and perfect for a weekday break, and the staff are friendly and efficient, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable.
It was my second visit and I must admit I was disappointed. The bread basket was cold and crumbly, and the quantity and variety of cheese had been reduced since my last visit. The risotto was bland and the fish was tasteless. The dish of the day was good... that's what saved the visit. Despite my disappointment, I plan to return... we all have more days ahead of us. If I may, I have two suggestions. The first is to stay true to your principles, maintaining the quality and presentation of the couvert and the flavour of the food... which was one of the factors that prompted me to return. The second has to do with the bathrooms: keep the outside door closed and have air fresheners in the toilet. I hope this helps. Best regards
