The pomodoro with burrata and fresh focaccia bread was so good, I returned for lunch a couple days later and ordered the same thing. Bonus, the ice cold Coca Cola is bottled, not canned, and the distributor picks up the used bottles which then get refilled with Coke. The proprietress is a warm and friendly woman who works very hard and provides great fresh pasta. Great little place. They have a super cute Tuk Tuk parked outside with Pausa’s logo on it.

Very enjoyable experience at Pausa - Alfama during our family vacation in Lisbon, Portugal. We enjoyed eating authentic Italian food served fresh and hot. We got the Pesto and Cheese Pasta with herb focaccia. It was very delicious! We also got the Tiramisu cake with a rich creamy filling. The service was quick and the staff are very friendly. Would definitely recommend! Can’t wait to visit again very soon.

The place was really clean and cozy and the service was good! Me and my friend both ordered the fungi pasta which was really bland and had almost no taste, though the bread that came with was good and crunchy. Also the soft drinks that we ordered came with no ice which made the drinks lukewarm. Aesthetic wise the food looked really delicious and the portions were big as well but I wouldn’t recommend this dish.

So delicious. Highly recommend stopping here. My husband, mother and I ate here for lunch. We’re so glad we stopped. The sangria was super delicious and everything was freshly prepared as you ordered it. What a great find!

It’s honestly one of the best pasta places I’ve eaten at anywhere in the world. The dishes are packed with flavor and the pasta is perfect, we tried the cacio e pepe and pomodoro burrata and both were flawless. It’s the kind of place where you end up cleaning the pan because everything is that good, and each dish comes with a warm piece of focaccia to do so! We also tried the tiramisu which is one of the best we ate. Warm atmosphere, amazing food, and absolutely worth a lunch or dinner stop.
