Absolutely loved this place! ❤️ The food was delicious and the best food we had in Lisabon and the atmosphere was so cozy, and the service was outstanding. A special thank you to Gina, who was incredibly sweet, kind, and welcoming from the moment we arrived. She made our experience even more special with her warm smile and amazing hospitality. We’ll definitely be coming back next time we’re in Lisbon. Highly recommend! 🥰✨

Beware, the portions are enormous! :) Came here for lunch without booking, the place inside was almost empty. The guy working there was nice. We ordered rabbit as a started, then meat dish and shrimp dish with rice and beans. Everything was good but I think we could have just one of these and be fine - the portions are really big. The place inside is amazing! It’s decorated in so many different (but organic together) ways. The menu is written on the first pages of different books, like an encyclopedia! And the books you will find on the table are not just decorations - they are used to be put under the hot pans! Amazing.

I had the duck rice with sausage and tomato salad for dinner and immediately returned the next day for lunch because I knew I wanted to try more of the menu. My second time I tried the codfish maw stew and it was so delicious—warm and flavourful and everything I wanted in a meal. The portions at Sant’Avó are also generous; as a solo diner I always had enough for another meal left over. Lastly, the restaurant itself is beautifully decorated and all the servers were very attentive and kind. If I ever return to Lisbon I will be returning to Sant’Avo!

The atmosphere, the food, and the service were all excellent. We started with the fried rabbit, olives and bread and soup. The rabbit was so tender and flavorful. For dinner we had the pork stew and octopus stew. Both were delicious but the portions were large and I wish we would’ve shared the octopus stew instead of getting two. Margaritas were also delicious. Service was very good! Highly recommend this place!

Seems to be portuguese, nepalese mix of food. Everything was perfect - Homely, welcoming service - Comforting, flavourful, generous food (incredibly fresh and well cooked seafood) - Comfortable experience highly recommend the fried fish with tomato rice, octopus stew and drunk pear dessert! though honestly every dish was spectacular. if you’re open to try something different, the yellow beans with beef tripe is amazing too also, shoutout to the service team (especially Gina!!!!) for making my birthday dinner such a special one 🥹
