We had the 10 course tasting menu, it was excellent!! All fresh seafood, great service, kid friendly and very accommodating, staff speaks fluent english and spanish.
the food, the service, did I mention the food?? we went back twice for their signature dish, sardine nigiri. They lovingly call say "Japanese techniques with Portugese ingredients" and thats exactly what we were looking for. they have a tasting menu for 35 euros at the time we went, and for the creative and delicious offerings they made, we think it was well worth the trekk up to eat there! Plus there is a beautiful church to admire before or after your meal located across from them
We had some amazing meals during our trip to Portugal but I think this may have been the most memorable. Unique, creative and just absolutely delicious. Definitely go for the tasting menu—you won’t regret it!
This place is a real gem. Blends a high end haute cuisine meal with a lively and welcoming atmosphere. The 12 course tasting menu is a steal at €45. Takes you on a delicious journey with some inspired dishes that mix Asian influences with locally sourced ingredients. Staff was super friendly and the owner invited me to see their well designed prep kitchen. Highly recommended.
Absolutely outstanding! The chef-owner is doing an incredible job - you can really feel the passion and attention to detail in every dish. The fish is beautifully aged, the ingredients are top quality, and each plate has its own unique color and character. The Portuguese-Japanese fusion works surprisingly well - the flavors are balanced, refined, and simply delicious. Service was warm and professional. I genuinely enjoyed every bite! Highly recommended
