We had a fantastic lunch just three minutes away from the tourist hotspots. The hosts welcomed us like special guests. They immediately explained the menu of the day, which included grilled octopus. We ordered local cheese with olives and half a liter of Vinho Verde; it was so delicious that we didn't even notice we had ordered another half-liter. We paid just €20 each for everything. Note: cash payments only!!! Fantastic hosts, a cozy atmosphere, refreshing wine, and very delicious octopus!!! Thank you and good luck!!!
I think this place is a true Gem! Finally a place without tourists and crazy noise. Local, simple, DELICIOUS, and worth every penny. Homemade approach. Good quality and the prices are very good for what you receive. Feels like you visited your grandpa and grandma and your belly is full and happy! THANK YOU!
Simple authentic restaurant in the heart of Chiado. We ordered the cod and the chicken and both were fresh and delicious. The kind older gentleman was serving, very hospitable.

Nice local restaurant. The fish is fresh and the food is tasty and well-made. The atmosphere is not good because it is just an old place with a TV that is on all the time and no music. The prices were too high and it is not a meal that is value for money enough, we were charged for water and olives at the start. They do not accept credit cards!
