We had the most fabulous experience at Java for dinner. We were lucky to be seated outside and kicked off the meal with a great view. Our server Rosalina took incredible care of us, timed our courses perfectly and was an absolute joy. Every dish we had was impeccable. Theres truly not enough good things I can say about the experience. If you're debating going - stop. Just go.
This place has amazing views and really delicious food, especially the cabbage, prawns and fish! Don’t forget the bread to dip with the sauce too. Arthur whom served us was very friendly and recommended us all the nice dishes we loved! Strongly recommend!
We had a great experience at Java! From the moment we walked into the restaurant the service was impeccable, and the vibes were unmatched. Chef Zia, Esmond, and the team took great care of us and we really enjoyed the meal as well. Our favourite bites were the octopus, the leeks, and the oysters! Amazing wine and cocktails too! Would highly recommend Java.
My friend recommended Javá for my birthday. It is safe to say, it was one of the best rooftop restaurants I have been to. From the host to the staff, everyone was welcoming and patient. The food was an instant 10/10, especially the octopus. I was a little apprehensive about this dish as it was my first time trying it, but I was blown away with the flavours and at how each bite, the flavours intensified. I will definitely be returning to try out their other dishes and I encourage anyone (local or tourist) to visit.
If you’re in Lisbon, Java is an absolute must-visit. The food and service were genuinely out of this world. We ordered the octopus and the lamb shank, and both dishes were exceptional perfectly cooked, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. It’s one of those meals you keep thinking about long after you’ve left. The menu is reasonably small, but that just means everything is done really well. You can tell there’s real attention to quality rather than quantity. A quick heads-up: you’ll definitely want to book in advance as the space is quite limited. Also, they’re currently having some work done, so it might not look like much on the way in but don’t let that put you off. There’s a great viewing point just outside which is worth checking out, although it can get a bit windy. All in all, an incredible dining experience. Highly recommended.
