I had this place saved in my notes for a long time and the food was slightly disappointing. The sardines were fine, served with a couple of potatoes and a small salad - the meat though was tough and not great. The location though, when it’s sunny, is super nice and lively.
Nice bustling restaurant with many locals lunching. Service was quick and friendly with good food. Ordered the veal steak, grilled trout and pork strips. Topped up with a dish of grilled sardines that were calling out to me from the display.
Location: great , outdoors table , vibrant mood Service : Poor. The first waitress was unfriendly . The second one came to rescue the situation ... so we decided to stay . Food: the first look was surprising , but it was tasty , no doubt !
This meal was absolutely fabulous, best we had in Portugal. The fish was so fresh and delicious, octopus was amazing. And service was lovely. It is cash only reminder!
